Cancellations:
We understand life can be unpredictable, and we aim to offer flexibility when you need it.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled walk will incur no charge. However, If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled walk, the full cost will still apply.
Our Commitment to You:
We will only cancel a walk in the event of an emergency or adverse weather. If we do need to cancel, we will provide at least 24 hours notice where possible.
For your dog’s safety and comfort, we do not walk in extreme heat, as high temperatures can cause distress and pose a serious risk of heatstroke. If we deem it too hot to walk, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Similarly, if there are severe weather conditions such as heavy snow, storms, or other unsafe conditions, we may need to cancel or reschedule walks. We always prioritize your pet’s well-being and will keep you promptly informed about any changes.
If we need to take time off, we’ll notify you at least 2 weeks in advance, so you have plenty of time to adjust.

FAQ's
Dog Walking
What happens after submitting the contact form?
Your enquiry goes straight to our inbox and either Gab or Harry will respond within 24 hours. We’ll book a Meet & Greet so we can introduce ourselves and meet your dog before we begin our walks. If you want to walk with us after that first meeting, we’ll get you booked in!
How long are your walks?
Your dog will enjoy a full hour of walking, exploring, and exercise. Travel time to and from our walking spots is on us and is not included in the walking hour.
What time do you walk?
We’ll always try and accommodate the time slot you request, however, during busy periods, we may require some flexibility with the option to walk your dog slightly earlier/later. If we can’t accommodate the exact time you need, we’ll offer the best alternative we can.
Where do you walk/what activities do you do while walking?
We explore the beautiful woodlands and moors around North Yorkshire and Otley, giving your dog plenty of space to run, play, and enjoy nature. We group similar dogs together based on their energy levels and play styles, encouraging breed-specific activities that they love.
To keep things exciting, we bring toys like flirt poles, dummies, and tug toys, ensuring every walk is engaging and fun. We also tailor activities to your dog’s preferences—whether they love digging, splashing in rivers, or chasing toys, we’ll make sure they have a fantastic time.
How do the ‘Adventure Days’ work?
Around once a month, we organize Adventure Days, where we explore exciting new locations like the beach or go on extended hikes. Existing customers always get the first opportunity to book a spot, and any remaining spaces will be advertised more widely.
If your dog would prefer a Solo Adventure Day, we’re happy to arrange that on a one-to-one basis to ensure they have a tailored and unforgettable experience.
Are you fully insured?
Yes! We’re fully insured dog trainers and walkers and have liability insurance and up-to-date vehicle insurance. We are CRB checked, First Aid trained, and have everything we need to care for your dog safely.
How do you keep in touch?
We primarily communicate via WhatsApp, allowing us to provide timely updates when picking up or dropping off your dog. During the walk, we love capturing photos and videos of your dog having fun, which we’ll share with you afterward, along with any notes or observations from the day.
What if you no longer need us?
If you no longer need us to walk your dog, just let us know—we don’t require an official notice period. This allows us to welcome someone from our waiting list into one of our packs promptly.
In very rare circumstances, we may be unable to continue accommodating your dog’s needs. However, this would only ever happen as a last resort, and we would discuss any concerns with you beforehand.
Dog Training
What is a Training Assessment, and do I definitely need one?
Yes, a Training Assessment is essential. It’s a thorough, one-hour session where we investigate your dog’s behavioural challenges in detail. This allows us to fully understand their needs and create a tailored training plan to help address any issues effectively.
A Training Assessment is £50.
What happens after my dog’s Assessment?
After the Training Assessment, we’ll let you know what course of action we think is best, whether that's basic advice, training walks, or a personalised training programme. At this point, we’ll recommend the number of sessions required and provide an estimated cost. Once you’re happy to proceed, we’ll finalise the details with a contract and get started.
We don’t use a standard hourly rate for training programmes, as every dog is unique. However, online advice sessions start at £45, with training walks starting at £40 per walk or £300 for a block booking of 10 walks.
If you’d like to book an assessment or discuss your dog’s needs, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
What happens when my dog’s training programme ends?
Even after your dog’s training program is complete, our support doesn’t stop there. We’ll stay in touch and check in with you regularly over the first few months to ensure everything is going smoothly.
As an added benefit, you’ll receive a 10% discount on any future booster sessions you book, giving you peace of mind that help is always available if needed.
What if you can’t help with our query?
If we’re unable to assist with your query, we’ll do our best to recommend a professional who can help. We’re committed to providing as much support as possible to ensure your dog gets the right care and guidance, connecting you with the right resources to meet their needs.
